MDFR execute technical rescue after person falls from roof in NW Miami-Dade

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR) units responded to a neighborhood in Northwest Miami-Dade after a person fell from a roof. The situation unfolded at a house on Northwest 82nd Circle Court, near Northwest 192nd Street, Monday morning. Live video footage showed the two-story house’s roof enveloped in a white plastic covering, normally indicating the structure had a leak. According to SkyForce’s Ralph Rayburn, a person who was on the second-floor roof somehow fell onto the first-floor roof and broke both their legs. Rescue crews were seen on the scene as they executed a technical rescue to get the victim off the roof. A helicopter landed on a nearby path of land to airlift the person to the hospital, as his situation was considered a trauma alert. Authorities are warning the public to be on alert as they search for an “armed and dangerous” man in connection with a the death of a woman in Gardner on Sunday morning who was found in a home with four young children inside, officials said.Aaron Pennington, 33, of Gardner, is being sought in connection with the death of Breanne Pennington, 30, of 42 Cherry St. Investigators say four children, ages 2, 5, 7, and 9 were inside the home at the time and left to get help. The guard dog, called Bobi, died over the weekend in a veterinary hospital, Leonel Costa told The Associated Press.Bobi lived on a farm in the village of Conqueiros in Portugal with Costa and four cats. He was born on May 11, 1992, when his owner was just 8 years old.
