Broncos put WR Brandon Johnson on injured reserve after hamstring injury

Brandon Johnson will not be a game-time decision after all.The Broncos’ second-year wide receiver was placed on injured reserve Saturday with a hamstring issue, the team announced.Johnson injured his hamstring late in Thursday’s practice, coach Sean Payton confirmed Friday. Payton thought perhaps the injury was minor enough that he’d have a chance to work out before the game Sunday against Kansas City. Calling it the “crown jewel of the city’s new Civic Community Campus,” South San Francisco Mayor Buenaflor Nicolas helped unveil a gleaming new three-story Library and Parks and Recreation Center during a grand opening ceremony Saturday.When the ribbon was cut, hundreds of South San Franciscans spilled in to see the 83,000-square-foot structure. It was built largely with their tax money collected after Measure W was passed in 2015, adding a half-cent to the sales tax.Visitors were greeted in the front lobby by an illuminated floor-to ceiling photograph of the city’s famous “Industrial City” sign. (KRON) – Two days after the Oakland Police Department launched an auto theft pilot program, OPD has announced they will be temporarily deactivating the pilot program’s account on X, formerly known as Twitter. The auto theft pilot program was an initiative attempting to catch criminals in real time. Residents who are witnessing car theft were able to direct message on the Oakland PD's pilot program X account, which is @OaklandAutoBurg.
